What should i do with a blue bedroom?
My mom repainted my old bedroom furniture baby blue. ITS ALL BLUE! The Bed, the wardrobe and the bedside!! I want to give the room a modern look. My carpet is blue and my comforter is blue... What colours would accent the walls? and any ideas for the curtains?

- Try adding a rich chocolate brown. The blue/brown combo can be very sophisticated if done properly. The brown will also help tone down that sea of blue! - My son had a room painted pale blue and we bought him crisp black furniture, and the curtains were from Bed Bath & beyond- black with white stripes- very sharp.In your case, do it the other way around. Add some charcoal gray or black to all that blue, either as an accent wall, or as some hardware on the furniture (like knobs, or even some trim that you can paint and nail onto the top and bottom of the pieces). I'm sure you can also find some bedding in that color.
- Try to change some in the bedding, maybe a new comforter, pillow shams with different colors and patterns, match them with some other accent in the room.
