what color should i paint my bedroom walls?
I'm a 16 year old girl in desperate need of a bedroom makeover. My carpet is dark pink and I have no idea what colors or designs to put on my walls. Help? Thanks so much for your help!

- i would do it a green. a lime green something to match the pink

- colors evoke emotions. i would go with a softer green than bright lime or something, because it's too exciting of a color for winding down, doing hw, sleeping, etc. dark pink is a hard color to work with. blue or green are good complimentary colors. or you could do a lighter value of the same pink.
- black and pink is super cute. It is so fashionista if your that kind of girl. Or maybe a blue- turquoise kind of deal.
- play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to help you imagine how the colors will look together. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website: http://www.roomvues.com/ You can get color suggestions & for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
- a light tealish color with maybe a darkish greeen and maybe a light purple. But not just purple. If you want to do purple please use a blue with the purple. A pale yellow would look pretty also! Those are the colors i would use:] Hope i helped
