Remodeling my room to a very white modern bedroom?
So my mom told me yesterday that we're remodeling the house, my room included. i want something really clean (i kinda have ocd lol) anddd i picked a couple of designs. my room is going to look somewhere along this line. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l83/OhCheezy/latitude-white.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l83/OhCheezy/untitled.jpg i asked my mom, if we could take out my carpet, and put in white marble flooring. she said okay. i also wondering, where can i get furniture along these lines in the picture? i found some online on ikea but my parents refuse to buy me furniture from ikea or living spaces because they think it is cheap, which i find RIDICULOUS considering the fact i will be moving out in a few months and going to college. i live in southern california btw in orange county which is around 30-40 minutes away from LA. im looking for a really low white bed frame. kinda like in the pictures. and also a glass table for my computer like this. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l83/OhCheezy/glass_desk_header_2.jpg where can i buy one of these? - The cushioned headboard, is something you can easily make using plywood, foam rubber, fabric, a hot glue gun, and a staple gun. Head over to Michael's or JoAnn's fabric and crafts with the picture. The staff can easily help you find the supplies you will need and they'll most likely have a crafting expert on hand to even show you how to do what's needed to pull that look together. As for the furniture... Plummers, Roche Bobois, and Catoni are good sources. Sadly, Horizon, is closing soon. But have a look at them anyway... You may still be able to snap a up a great piece, and at a bargain price. You don't say what part of OC you're in. But both Plummers and Roche Bobois have locations in Orange County. Plummers can be found in Huntington Beach and Irvine. Roshe Bobois can be found in Costa Mesa. Catoni is fast becoming THE location to find contemporary furniture, in OC. Catoni is located in Irvine.
