I have mold on my bedroom ,could this be from the April fools virus?

Why are the media creating mass hysteria with crap like the Conficker virus or the Y2K Armageddon when the patch was already released months ago? I had 30 people on panic state calling me yesterday about the virus. I have lost faith to human intelligence! LOL.Good one grandma.
