  1. Im still pregnant, but I would think it would be a toddler bed, a toy box, a night stand with a lamp, a dresser, and maybe a radio. If the 6 yr old shares that room also, I might consider having a tv too that way she can have her own space during free time, while the other girls are playing. I wouldnt think you would need a changing table. If they arent potty trained yet, they should be.
  2. Beds, and something to store their clothes in. If they're going to play in there also something to to store toys in. Everything else is optional. Wouldn't bother with a changing table for a 2yo. Edit: okay, let me clarify. If you have a changing table and you want to use it, you can put it in there. However, with a 24mo you'd be working on daytime potty training, so you'd be using the changing table fairly little so I'd just sit on the bed and change the diaper on the bed. Putting the changing table away also reinforces the "you're a big girl now and you'll learn to use the potty" as well. So instead of a changing table I'd put a potty in the bedroom and change the occasional diaper on the bed, so that's why I said I wouldn't bother with a changing table for a 2yo. On average girls complete their daytime potty training at 26mo or so (boys way later).
  3. In my sons bedroom 4 & 2 I have a bed for each of them a dresser for each of them, fish tank on a stand used for storing toys, toy box, book shelves, stand with tv on it and secured so they can't pull it on themselves, curtains on all the windows, a car rug in the middle of the floor, posters and wallies on the walls, a winnie the pooh night light, rocking chair that I sit in to read them books before bed, and several other larger toys.
  4. My son is 2 and in his room: * His bed (toddler size) * matching book cases for toys and bins for things that sit well on the shelves * a rocking chair * some area rugs * an art easle with chalk and magnets * his night light * a dresser * lamp * a row of hanging pegs at his height for jackets and things like that * a sound machine (it clips to his bed and runs on batteries) In his play room we keep the other things like the ball pit, more shelves with bins, sit and spin, bop bag and blocks.
  5. My sons are 3 and 4. They have their own bedrooms but usually sleep in the same room together. 3 year old's bedroom. - 2 toddler beds. (1 for each kid since both of them sleep in there at times. - 2 toy boxes. (You can use other types of storage. - 1 Night stand that we use to put books in. We don't use a book shelf because we are afraid he'll turn it over on himself. 4 year old's bedroom - 1 twin size bed. - 1 dresser and 1 chest of drawers. (We store both of their clothes in his room. - Toy boxes. They have all kinds of different toys. Just whatever your children like. Nothing that the 2 year old could get choked on should be in there. We put the bigger toys like toy tool benches, punching bags, sitting spin in the living room in the kids area because they tend to fight over those toys. We also keep the play-dough, kids scissors, markers, paints and crayons up on shelves in the closet out of their reach lol. We have a somewhat large living room though. If your 2 year old sleeps in a crib then I'd put her crib in there. A bed for each child or a bed for the two older ones to share. With the beds and cribs, just do whatever fits your family the best. If you use the changing table a lot it would be fine to put it in there. Hope this helped.
  6. My son is almost 3 and daughter is 9 months old and they share their room. I have my son in a queen sized bed, with a guard rail on it to prevent him from rolling off the bed. (This way the room can work overtime as a guest room for grandma). My DD has her crib. I have 2 small dressers from IKEA with the changing pad securely attached to it and for clothes and an area rug. (we have hardwood floors and gets very cold up here, so my son can play there). I also have my glider in there, so I can nurse my daughter. I know it sounds very crowded, but it is not. my kids don't play in there much, so we don't have any toys in there, books for bedtime or in a small basket, under my sons bed. Ideally if they had their own rooms, I would have a larger dresser for each, but wouldn't change anything else. Since you have 3 kids in there, I would put the 6yr and 3 yr old in a bunk bed. With the 6 yr old on the top bunk and the 3yr old on the bottom with a guard rail. and your 2 yr old in a crib or in a toddler/twin bed.
  7. All should have beds! http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.ohdeedoh.com/uimages/ohdeedoh/inexpensive-toddler-bed.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.ohdeedoh.com/ohdeedoh/good-questions/good-question-inexpensive-modern-toddler-bed-054865&usg=__tA1JlZ2IcvaRHJ1PSNpkuJBuKc8=&h=321&w=540&sz=57&hl=en&start=8&um=1&tbnid=3fL-_KxfYFruCM:&tbnh=78&tbnw=132&prev=/images%3Fq%3DToddler%2Bbed%2Bcheap%26hl%3Den%26rls%3DDLUS,DLUS:2006-28,DLUS:en%26um%3D1 I love it because it has a bench at the end and it seems perfect! I would suggest it for the 6 year old. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://common.csnstores.com/Dream-On-Me-Sleigh-Toddler-Bed-with-Trundle-in-White~img~DOM~DOM1096_a.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.csnbaby.com/Dream-On-Me-643W-DOM1096.html&usg=__a5HglH1y8N8z1M0ZSk9FuXM29CI=&h=334&w=530&sz=24&hl=en&start=19&um=1&tbnid=qubKFcoMwZ5qYM:&tbnh=83&tbnw=132&prev=/images%3Fq%3DToddler%2Bbed%2Bcheap%26hl%3Den%26rls%3DDLUS,DLUS:2006-28,DLUS:en%26um%3D1 This is cute for a three or six year old and it has a lot of storage. Or course I might change the comforter. If any like Dora this would be great! http://www.householdinnovations.co.uk/shop/images/dora-toddler.bed.jpg A child should also have something like a storage box for all their toys: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.toyboxplaythings.com/Toy%2520Box.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.toyboxplaythings.com/&usg=__Q_jA1c2TAvH8VAUZwPTS2RaLpCc=&h=450&w=600&sz=19&hl=en&start=5&um=1&tbnid=BUpv00omT-JuXM:&tbnh=101&tbnw=135&prev=/images%3Fq%3DToybox%26hl%3Den%26rls%3DDLUS,DLUS:2006-28,DLUS:en%26um%3D1 OR http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.healthchecksystems.com/images/levels_of_discovery_rock_a_bye_baby_toybox.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.healthchecksystems.com/levels_of_discovery_toy_boxes.htm&usg=__opaSverPcOFYXj1Cf_3Ek0IQh5U=&h=316&w=302&sz=17&hl=en&start=17&um=1&tbnid=3yBDiVOCuvl00M:&tbnh=117&tbnw=112&prev=/images%3Fq%3DToybox%26hl%3Den%26rls%3DDLUS,DLUS:2006-28,DLUS:en%26um%3D1 OR http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51JMKDDQsxL._Disney%2520Princess%2520Padded%2520Bench%2520Seat%2520Toy%2520Box%2520%26%25203%2520Bin%2520Organize_.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.uptodatedesign.com/2008/07/disney-princess-padded-bench-seat-toy-box-3-bin-organize/&usg=___A_U4utHNnoo13nbH8ARMveUTvc=&h=500&w=500&sz=39&hl=en&start=46&um=1&tbnid=q6lIDdsLvBmFtM:&tbnh=130&tbnw=130&prev=/images%3Fq%3DToybox%26ndsp%3D20%26hl%3Den%26rls%3DDLUS,DLUS:2006-28,DLUS:en%26sa%3DN%26start%3D40%26um%3D1 Each girl could have one small box or you could buy something bigger. A child could also have a small TV or if they share a room they could make an agreement on that they go around in a circle picking shows Also some dress-up costumes.
