Light blue walls. What bedspread/other ideas for bedroom?
I have light blue walls in my bedroom. My carpet is an off-white, beige color. I've looked for bedspreads and have not found any that look similar to the color blue my walls are. If anyone has any suggestions about colors of bedspread or any other design idea, that would be wonderful! Links would be helpful too (if possible) :) Thanks!

- light blue and chocolate brown are really trendy color combos right now and are easy to find. They really do look great together and with your carpet color, this would be a perfect choice!
- i have light blue walls and i found this at ikea. i love it! i think it goes great and it has more colors so its not so boring
- light blue goes well with so many color be experimental and try out yellow, shocking pink, brown, fawn orange and apple green colors for bed spreads try geometrical designs, lines and motifs.
- I don't know how old you are or the exact shade of blue you have on your walls, but here are some that might work for you: http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6E.aspx?DeptID=59474&CatID=59514&GrpTyp=ENS&ItemID=156751d&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CMID=59483%7c59514&Fltr=&Srt=&QL=F&IND=3&CmCatId=59483|59514 http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6E.aspx?DeptID=59474&CatID=60551&GrpTyp=ENS&ItemID=1466b57&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CMID=59483%7c59488%7c60551&Fltr=&Srt=&QL=F&IND=44&CmCatId=59483|59488|60551 http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=116323&RN=22 http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=113374&RN=22 http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=117689&RN=22 http://www.allmodern.com/Chinois-Blue-Stanton-Series-DWL1428.html http://www.allmodern.com/Rhythm-Cotton-Bedding-Series-INH1445.html http://www1.bloomingdales.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=252941&CategoryID=3865&PartnerID=SHP&cm_mmc=PMD-_-Froogle-_-Product_Terms-_-Lauren_Ralph_Lauren_%22%22Palm_Harbor%22%22_Quilt_Full_Queen_Quilt&utm_source=GoogleProduct&utm_medium=organic http://www.beddingsuperstore.com/i?store=cat&id=2495 http://www.linensontheweb.com/NoFrame/items_direct/149286nf.html?adid=13--149286
- A nice Chocolate brown would work or a nice dark titanium or silver would work as well, I wouldn't go the same colour as your walls if you want your bed to stand out. Even a nice bright white with a slight blue pattern on it would be nice and soft. Good Luck and Happy Shopping
- it would have probably been a better idea to pick the bedding first- that's what i'm doing but it should be okay if there are any other colors you are using in your room (accent colors) you could try finding some bedding with those colors another idea is to use one or two other colors that are not light blue to decorate the rest of your room (bedding, rug) and have the light blue just on your wall
- If you can't find the right color to match your walls, you can try a shade that is darker or lighter than the carpet. Then look for three or four pillows in different shades of blue which you can toss on the bed. Try to find wall hangings, posters or photographs, which have off white backgrounds and shades of blue that blend with the walls. It will add to the room if there is a third color in the wall hangings. Yellows of any shade will look great. You don't need the exact match for the blues. As a matter of fact, a room is more interesting if the shades are darker or lighter, rather than the same. You can try to find curtains in a shade of blue slightly darker than the walls. Having the bedspread in the off-white shade will make the room look larger but the blue pillows will tie it into the wall color. Whatever third color you go for in the wall hangings, pick a few other objects to do in the same color family. If you chose yellow, you can buy a bunch of sunflowers and put them in a small yellow vase. Or if you need a hamper, choose a basket in a shade of brown to blend with the carpet.
