Redoing a Teen Bedroom. Need Ideas?
I am redoing my bedroom. I am painting all the walls a light grey, and then one is a deep purple. I am planning on getting grey bedding, and black and white accesories. My bedroom is farely big, i have a double bed. I need ideas on cheap furniture or accesories i can buy or make, such as a headboard, chairs, desk..... if you know of a good website, or pictures i would appreciate the help. Thanks!

- something i did when i got my room was make a headboard. i used my favorite color cloth and i put pictures of me and my friends on it and decorated it. i also have posters and a calender on my wall. just stuff you like and would like to look at.
- You can use a block of different paint color for a headboard, or use just two standard, fairly inexpensive bookcases on either side of your bed and hang some cool material from a rod that would hang down behind your bed, in place of a headboard. It would be really cool if the material was sheer and you hung white christmas lights behind it. The bookcases would give you plenty of space to stash your gear, too, could use baskets or milk crates or something to put your stuff into. If you put your purple wall behind your bed this could look really, really awesome. You might add some chrome or shiny silvery accessories. - Good color choice. Im not sure but check your local furniture stores. That will help determine weather or not you might still want that theme.
