Is it okay to paint the master bedroom the same color as the master bathroom?
Both of these rooms are painted a chocolate brown color, which I really like. In the bedroom, my accent color is green. In the bathroom it is aqua blue/turqoise. I don't know the "rules" in decorating these rooms. Just want to make sure it is okay to keep going with this decorating theme.

- Why not? If you don't like it, you can always change it.
- I personally like the idea of an aqua blue/turquoise Bathroom because it is a light color. However, I do would not care for Chocolate Brown in a bathroom! It is your choice! Good Luck!
- Since both rooms are part of your master suite, you can use a common color to link them. If you wanted to, you could paint the entire house the same color. Having this as a color found just in these rooms sets them apart, however. Hope this helps.
- If you want to keep to the high end decorating, then you should have your master bedroom and master suite the same paint colour....the accents can vary, but the paint colour should be the same...You are doing the correct thing and it will look great...I love chocolate brown on the walls...nice choice.
- If it pleases you, then nothing else matters. If you are worried about selling the house, the next owners can make it their own with their own colors. Good decorating is about making yourself as comfortable as possible in your own space. Obviously you've hit on something you like so go with it.
- hard to imagine a whole room in choc. brown. For me it would be like a cave, but it's your house and that's part of the fun of having one...paint it any color you like dear!
- whatever color those areas may have, as long as you're liking them then it's okay.. just be sure to at least jive the colors of your stuffs inside your bathroom and most especially your bedroom.. like the down pillows or mattresses.. just have it sync with the theme.. :)
