  1. No pics, but what about an asian garden theme. You can use a large fan or trifold divider for a center piece. Almost any color theme will work and satiny "kimono" material pillows, etc... Also sometimes a white room with one bright color accent is nice. A common color theme can be less expensive since you can start with things you already own. Watch some of the design shows on t.v. - the often start with one object you really like and design the room around the object. Last but not least - just consider rearranging and putting away some of your stuff for later days. Sometimes a good cleaning and rearranging makes it feel like a whole new room for no $$$! Good Luck.
  2. http://www.pbteen.com/products/p3936/index.cfm?pkey=gthmgrltoi http://www.pbteen.com/products/p3142/index.cfm?pkey=cchandeliers%2Dpendant%2Dlighting http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/40156966 Here is a suggestion for bedding and lighting...you can pick a very soft lightly tinted colour for your walls...pink, lilac, green, blue....any would work and be very relaxing in your room. I would suggest white furnishings and either a white or glass topped desk with a coloured chair for fun.
  3. use light blue, white and black as your themes. its chic, simple and glam. it'll totally be the bomb!

  5. bubbly is the first thing that comes to mind. so u are rather preppy. I can help. lol so start with like a multicolored bedspread and a bright one too. Paint one wall like pink and maybe add some lime green somewhere. and I placed cork board on parts of my walls in a cool pattern so I can hang stuff on them. I also have a chair and like a lounging area in my room and I was able to that with my small room so u could find a way. just fill your room with bright colors I could help u more through comunication of what u like and what u dislike. oh mirrors work good too plus who can have too many mirrors. gosh I am usually really good at this but I just lost my train of thought...so if u like my ideas get back to me!!! =]
  6. if you're a deep thinker type, get some wall quotes to express yourself and spark conversation. try these i found: http://www.wallsplots.com/index.php?cPath=12
  7. Deep Detention - Actually slap-dash shades of brown with streamers of tp from ceiling and walls to add peaceful ruffling of light breezes. Modeled after cells of felons who paint over the institutional greens and light blue with the only things available in deep detention. Use no brushes or rollers; palm on brown for honest crime texture. Splash some red near the bedding for something that talks to visitors. Heel marks in some of the tp is suggested. Add wood rods within windows for cell bars and I think we're done here.
