Teen decorating ideas for a girls bedroom?
I'm 15 years old and i wanna re-do my walls and wallpaper. i wanna have like a sky blue and a beach border or wallpaper but i cant find a good one anywhere.. they all loook like they are for like 5 year olds. helppp me! and if you have any other ideas tell me

- A beach theme bedroom sounds like fun. Use all colors found at the beach, like turquoise blue (sky), tans (sand), yellow (sun), light or dark coral (the colors inside seashells). Paint your ceiling the lightest light yellow or pale, pale lightest light blue (like a gallon of white with a slight tint to it). Then paint one wall perhaps turquoise, and the rest a lighter hue of that color (for this i would use the light yellow ceiling). Or, paint one wall coral (not orange) and the rest a light yellow (use the lightest blue ceiling). Use your imagination. Now, as far as the beach boarder, hmmm. In 3-4 years you will be sick of the boarder. Please consider using other ways to incorporate a beach theme. Try to fit a small beach umbrella in your room (maybe behind a reading chair or bean bag chair). Look for shadow boxes (these are empty frames with depth) and fill slightly with sand and toss in a sand dollar, a starfish, and some shells. Purchase a glass lamp base (craft stores) designed to be filled with whatever you like...again, perhaps some sand and sea shells, colored marbles. Get a beautiful glass vase and buy a colorful Chinese fighting fish (you can only have one. Two will fight until one is dead). At a craft store you can find a 'fisherman's net' to use in creative ways--perhaps drape over your window or hang from the ceiling with shells and a beach ball in it. Use a big beach pail for a garbage can or buy several beach pails and put 'em on a shelf to store your stuff inside. Hang a beach towel for a curtain over the window.Think beach cottage and if you can, paint your woodwork white and the furniture white. Use one length of picket fencing for your headboard. Have fun.
