i bought some dressers and bedroom sets from a furniture wharehouse and it smells like poo. help it smells?

they wont take the furhiture back because i threw away the boxes. also they tried to say they never had complaints about that before and then later she said some customers had to put the stuff in the garage to air them out , which i know that would take 2 to 5 years to air out because its real bad! any suggestions on getting rid of the smell?

1. I would bet it is the varnish they put on it. If the furniture is brand new they shoudl have an exchange or return policy , if not your state should have laws for returning items within so many days. do some research on it. You have to consider this could have been a warehouse froma flooded area or anything I Would push this issue based on health concerns.
2. wash it with white vinegar and then when it's dry spray some Lysol on it , leave the drawer s open and keep the windows open as much as you can, buy some lavender and make little sachet for each drawer , line the drawers with paper you cn even get scented ones for Home Sense , if you keep it clean and wipe it down from time to time it wil be fine, this happens when furniture is stored in damp and dark places where air is not circulating.
