Help designing bedroom [PICS]?

I'm moving to a new house, and my room is going to be relatively small. I was thinking of having an accent wall with some sort of design. The thing is.. I can't figure out which colors to paint my walls that would be best to match my bedspread and make the room seem bigger. 1. id paint the wall a salmon color....but then agan it cood b too matchy.....
