HELP!!!Decorating teen bedroom!?
Ok i am 14 and a girly girl but I'm kinda sick of pink. I want to personalize my space but i don't know how. I'm pretty creative, but when it comes to my room i'm lost. Can you help me!? I want it to look classy but don't have much cash. Any ideas, websites, stores will help. And what color scheme(purple or turquoise?), texture, prints should i use. THANKS!

- oK wat I did first was pick out bed cover I ABSOLUTLY LOVE then base all the colors off it. even add a color not on the covers. hope i helped!
- Put some paintins and/or posters. Either from your favorite painter, artist, band, etc. That will always be considered as "´personalizing" because those are your tastes.
- now that you have a color scheme, go to a decorating store like ikea and by cute furniture that meets ur colr scheme!!
- Check thrift stores for artowrk or items that you could turn into a decorative piece-you may not find anything, but its worth a look.
- I went for an Asian theme! You could do something like that, as it was relatively cheap. IKEA has amazing stuff that is inexpensive! You could base designs off of that!
- I think both. 1 color usually is too much, purple and turquoise would be really cool. Or you could do purple and black or something. Since you don't have much money I would suggest going to a thrift store.They have a lot of interesting things that you could use. Even the dollar store has cool things. Or you could cut up bags from your favorite stores and tack them on your wall. Some things I think you should have are pictures of animals or you with your friends it adds a nice touch. Even pictures with relatives. There are LOTS of cool pictures in magazines and posters of famous people you might like. Even most advertisement are really cool. getting fabric from favric stores would be cool too becuase you could use it all around your room, by cutting it to fit your dresser or putting it around your chair if you have one. The thing I suggest the most is a cool comforer. If you wanna spend your money on something comforters are the biggest influence.
