What color should I paint my bedroom furniture?
I want to paint my bedroom a sunny yellow color. My bedroom furniture is black right now, but I'm going to refinish it to be a lighter color. The furniture has a shiny black finish on it. How would I refinish it? Should I paint or stain it? And what color should I make it that would look nice with cream plantation shutters, beige carpet, and light yellow walls? Thanks.

- If your furniture is wood, then sanding it and priming it before painting it would be the key to a beautiful finish. I would go with navy blue for a serene and classic look or apple green for a youthful upbeat look.
