Can i finance a bedroom set..at a popular national furniture store with limited credit?

ok so im 19, the only credit i have is a macys card which ive had for a year, capital one since november..and buckle card for a week. my credit score is from 668-704 last time i checked..what are my chances? how does financing furniture work? and what do they mean like no intrest till 2011??how much is interest normally?

  1. You need close to perfect credit for that kind of "no interest until...." stuff. Your credit score does not sound like it would qualify for such a program. And in the rare event it does, be careful, you'll likely be hit with very high interest, up to 30% or possibly more, not worth it at all. Best bet - buy used furniture from consignment or yard sales, pennies on the dollar.
  2. The national chains don't finance themselves, they use outside loan companies like Citi financial and GE Money Bank. So, you need to qualify with the actual lenders who have their own criteria. The no interest stuff will take some doing, the best thing is to let them fill out an application and see what happens.
