Teen Bedroom Decorating?
I have a small room and I can't paint. I have many posters on the walls. I want my room to be dark brown and lime green. I have a really dark brown comforter and a few lime green accessories throughout the room. But a lot of my room is light colored so it doesn't really look put together. Any tips for me? Also I want music incorporated into my room, any decorating and organizing tips for me? Thanks!!!

- It depends on whether you mean you don't know how to paint, or you're actually not allowed to paint.... If you're allowed, try to keep it bright, since it's small. Paint it lime green. If you want music incorporated, find some old records or cd's to hang on the wall as a border, or paint some music notes for a border. You could also use fishing line, and hang cd's or records from the ceiling to they dangle. Maybe a small disco light as well.
- since you cant paint the walls, wold it be possible to hang dark brown and lime green fabric on your walls. if you have cd cases you dont use you can make a mobile out of them. hope this helps.
- So, fist, try to clear out any old junk. Try donating it to a local thrift store or woman's center. Giving stuff away to organizations in need is a great way to make more space to decorate, plus it'll make you feel generous. Here are some tips to incorporate your colors: 1. Try brown and green throw pillows, It adds color to the bed, which is an important part of the room! 2. Change curtains. Choose green or brown (I would go for green/brown stripes) curtains to hang over the window to cast a sorta Green/Brown glow to the room. 3. Since you want to add music, go to yard sales or some funky thrift stores and look for old record disks. Buy a few and paint them brown and green! P.S. I'm not sure how much money you have to spend on the room, but a bit of a splurge is a speaker headboard from Walmart. Check out the link below!
