I need help with designing my bedroom? Colors, color of furniture, things like that?
I'm a fifteen year old guy, not into sports so much, and don't want a themed bedroom. I want a stylish bedroom, maybe to look like a five star hotel, or something along those lines. I was thinking of getting black, or espresso colored furniture, with a darkish olive or darkish soft blue or darkish gray walls. I'm having a tough time narrowing it down. Could someone please help me decide what to do with it? I have a plain white Down Comforter, and white pillows. I want to keep the comforter white, but I'm fine with shams on the pillows, but what color? And what color accents should I use, if any? I could do different shades on different walls, or MAYBE do a chair-rail trim across my room with a color on top and a color underneath. And Should I get hardwood floors or thick shaggy new carpet? Help, please and thank you:)

- Here's my thought: Go with cocoa brown accents - shams, an accent wall. It's warm and 'in.' Dark wood furniture with dark wood, shiny floors. A shaggy cocoa brown rug. For the walls, I'd shy away from gray or blue - blue is outdated and grey is too cool. Espresso furniture, definitely. A good accent color with brown would be peach or cream. Have fun!
- *** Luxury hotel rooms are modern and minimal, dark wood furniture arranged in separate areas. http://images.google.com/images?gbv=2&hl=en&sa=1&q=luxury+hotel+bedroom&aq=4&oq=luxury+hotel+&aqi=g7g-m1&start=0 Sandy beige walls with an accent wall in olive or rust will add color and depth, the perfect earth tones for a masculine bedroom. Accents in dark muted yellow, burnt orange and deep warm red. Carpeting for comfort. http://www.condohotelcenter.com/images/trump-waikiki-bedroom2.jpg
