What is a good theme for a teen bedroom?
My room is really boring and I wanted it to be... more me. I'm really into nature, music, books, romance, writing and clothes. I can't get rid of the actual furniture in my room, but the colors of the furniture are a maple and a forest green. So can anyone think of any themes or ideas for my bedroom? I also have a wood floor and I can paint my walls so really, go ahead and think of some great and crazy ideas. Please?

- I LOVE a moraccan themed room. I mean, really, when you're all grown up....you're most likely not going to get to have all these loud colors and do whatever you want. Here's some ideas for colors: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_U-e4CH6tgN4/SjexipFnuGI/AAAAAAAAEnQ/7FPYa3jGxZY/s320/oasis-bedroom.jpg http://img.hgtv.com/HGTV/2006/03/03/DOD1603_1p_brightlycoloredpillows_sm.jpg http://www.digsdigs.com/photos/modern-moroccan-bathroom-furniture-1-554x414.jpg Can you please answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhDEXy3J9VU.ewH5SVfs9xbsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20091122120939AALZWwb
- Hmmm..... how about you add a touch of butterflies (or some other part of nature; i just like butterflies) to your room to express how you like nature. For music, reading, and writing, clear out a small corner in your room and place your music, books, and writing stuff there along with comfy chair to relax in. That spot will be perfect to chill in, read, listen to your music, and write. You can also add more chairs for when friends come over. For the romance and fashion part of your room, add posters. For the color of the room, paint it your fave color. Just let your room express who you are! On the other hand, if you want a themed room, and like zebra print, make your comforter a zebra print comforter and paint your room like a dark purple or something. Whatever you like. Well, I hope I helped you, because i tried my best, but if i didn't im sorry. I used all the ideas i could think of. Hope this helped you out and gave you at least an picture of what you could make your room into. I'm sure it will look great! :)
- Since you like books and romance and such, I suggest a Victorian theme. It'l be mature and cozy, yet not boring. I would paint the walls and burgendy or another deep red- it will go nicely with the green. Also look into getting some vintage books and use them for decoration. If you have some books that you're done reading and you really love a page from that book, cut it out and put in a picture frame and hang it on the wall.
