hey im a teenage girl and im moving house, any ideas for bedroom , bedroom furniture etcc?

im 13, id like a theme of pink and white and im getting all new furniture as we are leaving our house furnished. soo any ideass ? i think im painting my wals pink and then having white furniture with pink handles,, and other ideas, or help /? also what furniture will i needd ? wardrobee and bed, what else etcc many thankss xx

i decorated my daughter who ws 13 just as u described i had 2 walls white with small shocking pink stripes and the other 2 walls were the opposite way round it took ages to mark out walls them got a carpet in same shocking pink we change it with black Accessories and details she's got 3 5drawer units and a walk in wardrobe and 2 full length mirrors ikea are great we've just redecorated or could have taken pic
Use a very pale shade of pink on the bed and a bit of a deeper pink on your bedding.You can use different shades of pink when you pick out things like rugs, phone and lamps. Make sure the white is highlighted also.

I'd certainly get some kind of comfortable chair, or even two if you have the room, and might want to have a visitor to your room. Won't you need a desk and desk chair? Are you going to have a music system or TV? If so, you'll need a cart or shelf for it. I don't know about the pink handles on the furniture; why not silver-colored, and then pick up some other silver accents in lamps, bookends, etc., for a more grown-up and sophisticated look.

For furniture, you're right you need wardrobe and bed, you probably also need a bedside table and/or chest of drawers (both if you have the space, but one item to double as both if you don't have much space) and you may want a desk as well. White furniture is cool, but I would get white handles with it rather than pink. The reason being that if you're sick of pink in a couple of years, you can change your wall colour to something else entirely, and plain white furniture will still match. I would do EITHER all walls very pale pastel pink, OR do three white walls and a hot pink feature wall. But, a feature wall won't work in all rooms so it really depends on the size and shape of the room. It needs to be the wall that is the main focal point of the room, but it can't have any doors or windows in it. If you're going with the pale pink walls then you have more options for bedding; you could have plain white, or a nice floral pattern which incorporates the pink. If you go with the hot pink, though, you are probably limited to plain white bedding or it might look a bit too loud.
