How much will it cost to double glaze a medium sized, 3 bedroom house?
Need rough figures plz. In the UK.

- Depends on the company and the quality of their work. I'd expect prices to vary from around 3k to 5k including the doors. Though you could get higher & lower prices. It's not all the same stuff! Before you see them, ensure you have a firm idea of what you want or else all their quotes will be for different things and you won't be able to compare them. Things to ask: gap between glass? Rehau frames? warranty - independent or theirs? Honesty question - "What's the difference between UPVC and PVCu?" The honest reps will tell you they are the same thing. Chuck out the others.

- Without knowing how many windows, and what sizes, you will only get BAD guesses. There is no such thing as normal based on the information you supplied.
- Our last house...3 bed semi...we had a guy who did it privately outside of the company and he charged us £4,500 back in 1996/7 apx. A super job and that included a fancy front door/vestibule... ((German made))
