What's the best bedroom theme for a medium shade of green for wall color?

I'm a 14 year old girl. My room is not really big and the furniture takes up a lot of space. What are some themes that could work without spending more than $20? Can you give me any decorating ideas?

  1. 20 won't get you anything to decorate your room with. Maybe some beads.
  2. Get ideas at HGTV.com
  3. Mucus funland theme - You don't even need to pay money! Make it yourself!
  4. greens a little outdoorsy, so you can do that. or do whatever you love. my walls are purple and my whole room are horse themed & i made it all myself. its funner that way :D good luck
  5. Thats not much to work with. Perhaps a forest, flowers woods theme. Look for material to match walls that show this in print. Maybe later you can ask to replace some of furniture with smaller piece for more room. Thrift stores and moving sales are good bargains but check them over for cracks. *mamatx
  6. well depends what is your point of view ?????? well that color actually makes your room look bigger so id say..... for the budget of 20 then you can do some maybe aquatic, shabby chic, (ect.)
  7. I'm doing my walls in a light sea foamy green which I love! I want my room to feel cool and fresh with lighter color furniture like wicker. If you buy older wicker from a rummage cell.Spray paint it white and its gorgeous.Get long see through flowy curtains...
  8. I am a 12-year-old girl, but very mature for my age, so here's my opinion: If I were you, I would probably do something like one of those low bamboo type beds, and possibly the dresser and chest of drawers could be beige or even white. (I didn't know what kind of green you were talking about, so I imagined mint green and went from there.) But like I said, that's only my opinion, you should find something that suits your style and needs. You should base it either on color or prints or just simply imagination. For example, I have just moved and my room is practically empty. My walls are a very light shade of pink, but I'm going to paint them lilac, while using green as an accent color. <--- I was basing it on color. If you like prints, then I would go with black and white; like a zebra or cow. But, those aren't your limitations, they are merely recommendations. However, DO NOT make everything green or different shades of green . . . UGH! Once again, I am a twelve-year-old girl, not an interior decorator, but if you have any questions, please comment on this and I will reply. P.S. Amanda is totally right, your best bet is to find a summer job or do more chores or something, because $20 wouldn't even narrow down your choices to a flea market. Try for something over a hundred for some decency. :)
  9. Heyzz!! Well, honey, you can do loads of things -juzz do it yourself!! So, stencils are an economical way to decorate your room!! There are stencils in every shop about home -you can find something about either fairies and elves in the forest or jungle and Amazon stuff!! Since your room is big, you can make trees from carton, draw on the walls, make fairies or Tarzan (it depends on the theme!!) from carton and hang them on the ceiling, wrap a light bulb around with carton stuff related to the theme, display pics you've taken or posters and pages of mags.. There are loads of things you can do with very little cost or even nothing if you use materials you already have!! Juzz remember to leave your imagination free!! Good Luck!! ;-D
