How much would it cost to live in a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment in chicago if u have 2 medium sized dogs?
If you have 2 medium sized dogs, and are going to college, have an 8 hour job five days a week, and a 1 bedroom 1 bath apt. with direct tv and internet and phone.................. how much would you say you would need to make a year? month? week?

- Well I would say you should find the dogs a nice home because it is cruel to the dogs to be locked into the tiny apartment the whole entire day. For the apartment it depends on where the apartment is.... on the south side of Chicago you might can even live for free but without windows.... You have to have at least $25000 to live, you also will have utilities etc.
- Good luck with that one. There are not many landlords that will allow dogs. The ones that do usually are filled with other dog owners and thus the place smells. One bedroom places are not that big in Chicago so you might find having 2 medium sized dogs a little tight. You will need to make around $25-$30k per year.
- i just moved to chicago with 2 very large dogs and i was able to find a place pretty easily. for me what makes it a little more expensive is having out door space for my dogs to run around in. if you don't mind living in a kinda crappy apartment in a so-so neighborhood and have outdoor space you can get a place for 1250-1500 per-month. but if you want a nice place in a wealthy neighborhood and outdoor space its more like 2500-3000 per-month dollars. in my experience landlords are 50-50 on having dogs. i suggest looking at craigslist.com you can pick your neighborhood, price range, find places that except dogs, and other things. so it makes it easy to find what you want. you would probably want to make between 1500 and 3300 dollars per-month.
