What are some fun paint designs/techniques for a teen bedroom?

The bedding I want to get is kind of plain, so I want to do something cool with the walls to spice up the room a bit. Any pictures/instructions for fun designs or techniques? Thanks :)

1. How about you paint it one color, then splash it with another color or colors! That would look cute. You could also sponge paint.. You could get someone to paint a mural on one of the walls (like a beach scene or something). You could paint 2 walls one color and 2 walls another color. Or 3 walls 1 color, 1 wall another color. There's also wallpaper if you like that. Just have fun with it...It'll turn out good AND create memories to remember forever!

3. Go to www.bhg.com/decorating gallery It will let you "paint" a room and then you coukld see how different colors will work! Sponge painting is fun to do also using a feather duster just barely dipped into paint of a contrasting color and splashed onto main color is fun! Just experiment with different techniques and tools and see what you like best! Also try HGTV.com
4. U could blow up a photograph of like a sunset or ocean scene and use it as wallpaper on one wall. Or paint it a simple color and trace quotes in different colors. That would be cute!
