  1. To go with the mahogany furniture, you can either choose a red, orange, cream, brown like this one: https://www.decorpad.com/photos/2009/05/01/6cadcbb6dffb.jpg Green, beige/white, brown: http://www.interiordezine.com/images/interior/green-feature-wall-color.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_rZ3_LGcl7Qc/SjLqWoN-ryI/AAAAAAAAAiM/D7jaJhnXf2w/s400/dh09-guest-bedroom.jpg orange, yellow, , brown: http://www.thebedroomfurnitureonline.com/Images/Creative/sofia_bdrm_set.jpg Blue, cream, brown: http://www.paperbean.com.au/blog/satc01.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6RuB-MyU_O4/SFiZvK1lXjI/AAAAAAAABJE/pk-lJOF27F8/s400/reid+rolls+blue+bedroom.jpg Orange, tan, brown: dark pink, light pink, brown: http://www.examiner.com/x-1395-NY-Home-Design-Examiner~y2009m4d3-How-to-redecorate-your-home-or-apartment-to-maximize-romance I have some ideas which i would love to use in my room. For colour schemes, i personally like green and cream. It is very relaxing. I like to be closer to nature but you can choose a colour based on your personality type or the things that you do in your bedroom. E.g. If you like to hangout in your bedroom and your bedroom is a fun place for you or if you are more on the wilder side then you can opt for bright colours like orange, red, yellow, pink, etc. If you like serenity in your room then maybe you can go in for the green and whites. Check out the links for the green and blue schemes i pasted above. E.g. If my bedroom is a place i spend most of my time in then i will make it more functional, like i will have a TV, a coffee table, dressing table, small sofa, my study, a bookshelf, Maybe a fitness equipment too. It really depends upon what you need in there. But if i don't like to spend my time outdoors more than indoors then i would probably just have a bed, a dressing table, my study and maybe a my fitness equipment. If you can to choose 2 colours for your room choose a dark shade and a light one. and if you want 3 you can choose a dark colour, a light one and a medium one that goes well with both of them. Or choose one major colour, eg Blue, and then choose white and browns for the less prominent colours. And make sure that less prominent colours go with each other and that one of the less prominent colour goes well with the major colour. In this case, blue is the major colour, brown and white are less prominent, white can go with the blue and it also goes well with the brown too. For the colours keep in mind the mood that you want to set for you room, happy & energetic colours are the warm colours. And serene colours are the cool colours.
