Bedroom Decorating Ideas?
Hi. I need ideas for decorating my bedroom. It is a rectangular room and faces east so the light is very cold. I have pine wooden floorboards (no carpet). My furniture is off white & pine. Any suggestions are very welcome!

- decorate it with a quite childish touch b/c girls room must be childish
- oranges and yellows as throws or bedding or hang a throw on a bracket on the wall .
- i would warmer the red up with autumn colours such as deep reds and possibly cream walls, you could have one feature wall that would catch the eye,that would be the red one, i have my sitting room done in this colour scheme. you could search for design ideas to give you a feel here, that way you would have a base to work on and personalise it to your own tastes. good luck with it.
- I love the look of off white, pine and espresso toned wood. You could get some espresso colored floating or cube shelves and decorate them with picture frames, vases, figurines, etc. You could also add another accent color, think of a color that makes you happy, I like red, but it is totally up to you. You can tie in this accent color with an area rug, and curtains and a comforter. You could also get matching frames of various sizes and create a photo gallery on your wall. Hanging mirrors on the wall will bounce around light, and you could get some pretty accent lamps as well. I know this answer is a little vague, but I don't know what your style is.
