How do I make my room look like the 1930s bedroom/office?
What color wall paint did they use? What did there shelves and furniture look like? What kind of carpeting did they use? (Color, design, ect.) If you can find pictures of these items that would be great. Thanks for your time, can't wait for a response.

- there are decorating books featuring whole eras in time. the 30's should be easy to find. buy several or see them in the library. it will give you all kinds of suggestions and answer all your decorating questions. they are written by professional decoratiors, so it is like having a private session with one. you can also mix and match ideas to fit your taste.
