what color should I paint my bedroom wall(s)?

I won't paint my room Black or any other really dark color; it'll make the room look too small. I like bright green, but I don't know how it would look in my bedroom. Does anyone have any good color ideas that may look great? Also, should I paint ALL my walls, or just one or two? Mebbe different colors? Specks? If so, what colors look good together in a room? If you have designer skills,please share your opinion. Even if ya don't, please do. Thank you ! ! ! =]

1. It depends on how much light comes in thru the windows. Different times of the day will effect your color choice. I have seen some pale lavenders that look almost iridescent in the afternoon sun. Most people go for a pale green to pale blue. Get some samples from the home improvement store and go from there.
2. i ran into the same problem when painting my room. I wanted something bright and vibrant, but my room was just too small. I settled for a really pretty teal. It was really vibrant, but not so dark so it didn't make my room look small.
