Teen bedroom decorating ideas??
I just moved and need coll room ideas for my room im 14 so it needs 2 b really cool :P my room is rectangle shaped so any idaes??? and also do u think im 2 old 2 have a bunkbed???

- You're never too old for a bunkbed! Pick one with a futon sofa at the bottom! I have a 14 year old, so we let her "paint" her own room. She painted poetry on it. Black and white photo prints of pictures she took, enlarged and placed on these fat pieces of I'm not sure, maybe lightweight wood and hung on the walls. She doesn't like doing what everyone else her age does, so no band posters on the walls. She has a collection of superhero halloween buckets for hair stuff and trophies being used as jewelry holders (stuff has to have more than one purpose). Have fun. Pick a theme and don't worry about what other people think; it's your space.
- i don't think u should get a bunk bed because in a few years or even months you wont like it u shoul get something more mature that you will like in a few years. it depends on your personality for the colors and decorations. goth-purple with black dots or stripes preppy- pink with some design jock- maybe have some sport theme nerdy- maybe some book theme idk if this helps but i hope so! :) so good luck!
- Nope. Your never too old to have a bunk bed! Well, maybe if your like 30 or something. Anyway, I have a few ideas. Since you are 14, you probably want something thats cool and mature. Have you thought about going with just a really modern theme? If you paint your walls a Tiffany blue, and had white a black furniature and Tiffany blue acessories, it would be really fun and cute. - Ok, let's get something straight. Bunk beds are awesome, and if you can get away with having one, do it. You can totally get away with a bunk bed as a teenager. When you're out of college, it's a different story, but you have time. I'm 28 and still miss my bunk bed from freshman year in college. Personalize your room. Stick anything and everything on your walls that speaks to you. The advice I give you is different from that I would give an adult. You're 14, and now is the time to explore who you are. Experiment. What you do now can always be changed later. Put up posters that you love. Stick photos of your friends to the wall. Hang all your sports memorabilia, or drama posters, or even favorite notes from friends. Make the room clearly your own, a refuge. Hell, it's hard to be a teenager. Make your room your palace and break all the rules (with your parents' permission, of course). :)
