- I'm slowly becoming a fan of modern style. I just moved into a new apartment and many of its features are not like the more traditional feel my last space had. It took some getting use too, but I'm enjoying more and more furnishing the space. I found this really great TV lift stand that I recently ordered, http://www.importadvantage.com/Prism-73 It fits perfect in my living space. I needed something nice to use with my TV as the layout of the space is more open and you can view the living area from the kitchen area. If you are looking for a modern inspired TV cabinet maybe something like that would work for your space. As far as colors and textures, that is my next project - painting my walls. I too am looking out for suggestions. I love the light blues and gray hues, and am thinking of ways to add some color to the space. Hope this helps and best of luck with your future projects!
