what colours go with copper - bedroom designs?
We have really dark copper furniture, that you can make easy mistakes with when designing a room, for example making the room look reaaaally dark which can affect the human mind. We need colours that lighten the bedroom up, for example the flooring, the the wall, wallpaper etc. I would also like some pictures ( so links ) of bedrooms that have dark furniture ( copper ) but were lightened by light colours. So basically, colours that go well with dark copper , but not orange or yellow or peach. Thankyou sooo much in advance :D

- Work with any hue of green. Green's always a restful color for the bedroom & goes well with copper.
- Hi, I'm thinking you mean 'copper' as in wood not metal as I first read it to mean?! Sorry! Copper can come in lighter and darker shades, some more orangey than others, so its difficult to picture. Personally, I think most woods don't clash with any colour, but the best thing to do is to mock up your room on a virtual designer such as this one and give it a try! http://home.ivillage.com/decorating/0,,9pt69sx5-game,00.html You'll also probably find your favourite paint manufacturer has something similar on their website, and that way you can try out specific shades of paint, though bear in mind that it wont be identical when you do it for real. - The best colors to off set the darkness would be a AQUA beige and a rust color the best way to not to go bonkers is to also think of pattern to help the room.
