What to do for a teen bedroom?

im re-doing my room and i dont know what to do it like, i keep changing my mind! I like the colors yellow, orange, teal, purple, black and white. Please include the following... wall colors- beddings- curtains- lighting- shelves- dresser- accessories- please give links!! thank you! Ohh and i would like my walls to be different colors (ex. 2 walls orange, 2 walls yellow) thanks!!

  1. I'm the same and always change my mid for what i like so have settled for cream walls and the its easier to chage the coours of accessories and bedding etc istead of having to redoecorate my whole room!!

  4. The easiest way to start is by looking through magazines pick out things you like, they don't have to have anything in common just that you like them. After looking at several you will find everything you picked with go together. As far as painting the walls, they should all be the same color or the room with feel smaller or chopped up. You can add the other color with accents. Also pick a fabric you like, draw from all the colors in that fabric. Remember the designer of the fabric knows what colors blend well.   7. WALL COLORS- If you want a bright, fun, contrasting room, use opposite colors on the color wheel! (Example: blue and orange; black and white; purple and yellow; and i know that this isn't on the color wheel, but i love pink and orange) Warm colors (red,orange,yellow,pink) will make you feel more energized, while Cool colors (blues,greens,purples) will make you feel relaxed. In my room, two walls are a pale, celery green, while the other two are a bright, sunny yellow. It looks amazing! BEDDING- Pb Teen, JC Penney, Wake Up Frankie, Target, Delias, and more have great bedding!!!! CURTAINS- Again, loook at the same places. Try to get curtians that match your bed set, or that completely contrast with it! LIGHTING- For light, my favorite option is an overhead light. it casts a warm glow over the room. Table lamps are also great for reading. Try searching online for funky novelty lamps. SHELVES- Ikea has the best wall shelves. We spent forever looking, and ikea seemed the best. For other shelves, try cheap places like jc penney. But i think that ikea is still the best! DRESSER- Pb teen has great dressers, but they're really expensive. But cute.
