What would be the best way to convert a dining area into a bedroom for a pre-teen girl?
We have a young lady that visits with us from time to time, and we would like to set up our unused dining room as a bedroom. One door has an arch-shaped doorway going into the kitchen, the other is a larger doorway that connects with the living room. We would rather have something temporary, such as curtains, than something permanent, since we rent for now. Price is a consideration, too, but we do want to offer privacy, and for it to look nice. Thanks!

- You can get tension curtain bars that will fit in the doorways, with out hardware, and some inexpensive curtains to put up. Get a nice convertible futon couch that turns into a bed, along with a table with drawers to put belongings while she visits.
- Kick table, chairs, and other dining stuffs out. And dump a bed, lamp, and dresser in that room. There, you have another bedroom.
