What would be the best way to convert a dining area into a bedroom for a pre-teen girl?

We have a young lady that visits with us from time to time, and we would like to set up our unused dining room as a bedroom. One door has an arch-shaped doorway going into the kitchen, the other is a larger doorway that connects with the living room. We would rather have something temporary, such as curtains, than something permanent, since we rent for now. Price is a consideration, too, but we do want to offer privacy, and for it to look nice. Thanks!

  1. You can get tension curtain bars that will fit in the doorways, with out hardware, and some inexpensive curtains to put up. Get a nice convertible futon couch that turns into a bed, along with a table with drawers to put belongings while she visits.
  2. Kick table, chairs, and other dining stuffs out. And dump a bed, lamp, and dresser in that room. There, you have another bedroom.
