  1. go in like windows word and mess around and kind of make your room then measure the stuff and put it in your room and mess with it and when u find a way try it out for reals
  2. go to pbteen.com for ideas.
  3. haha, well find a central idea, whether it be a color or theme, and work around that. and arrange your room so it leaves you as much room as possible. i redid my room and i wanted it beach themed, so my walls are a light blue and i have sea shells all around, and a sandy color bedspread and stuff. i'm 16, and for teens its better to keep it simple and uncluttered
  4. ikea:) and mayb a blue for ur room
  5. How about a murphy bed to save space when you're studying or hanging out in your room. =)
  6. Build something to get your bed up and off the floor tall enough that your desk can go under and you can actually fit under. That will free up 1 whole wall. Like a loft bed!! Then put your tv on a tall chest and comp on desk.
  7. Keep it simple ,space full and minimum
  8. ok make sure the color suits you and isnt some gross color make it bright but not too bright dont make it dark http://www.designmyroom.com/projects/Start.aspx?Room=Bedroom to try it out
  9. well since you are asking for advice - here it is. You have way too much furniture for a small space. A big desk that takes up a whole wall is way to big of a desk! Try moving the desk to the basement or a yard sale! Orange goes great with brown or black - although you must be sure to be careful with black - too halloween-ie~ Take a hobbie or an interest - say football, computer games, rock n roll - anything. Buy some posters and some cheap frames from ikea or somewhere like that. The important thing is inexpensive and fun. Tastes change when you are that young and you will be redecorating in a few years, so just focus and current interests and have FUN!
  10. You didn't say what your furniture color was. Orange color sounds awesome- just keep it in the "sunset" color hue or it may become a little too vibrant for you. Thoughts- Think vertical- Have your parents purchase some inexpensive skinny book shelves (floor to ceiling)painted or in a dark wood tone to balance the orange hue of your room. Place your tv (hope its a small one!) and stereo on your shelves. Use the windows to your advantage. Place your desk under the window and if you have the room, that's where I would put the bookcases (on either side of the window). Use may end up using that whole wall up with storage but it will organize you in the long run. You also didn't say what you were into: skateboarding, surfing, football, baseball, basketball, etc. If you like jersey's you can make window treatments from them by haning your jerseys on a curtain rod for a window valance. www.benjaminmoore.com gives you the chance to look at rooms with different colors. Just remember whatever color you like, pick one shade lighter since once it goes on the wall it will darken slightly. Keep the color on the lighter side as well since your room is small, otherwise with darker colors you will feel like you're in a small box (not so cool) Another option is to find a used loft bed with a desk and drawers for storage, paint it in a satin finish of a darker color (navy/brown/black). Nix the bottom bed and you have plenty of space for your tv, computer, and stereo. Good luck and I hope it turns out great!
  11. many boy's rooms you can refer,good luck! http://www.decor-photos.com/or/Boysroom-d05ee9f3f46501d2.html
