Ideas for docorating a girls bedroom minus the fairy princess stuff?
Im 17 so i dont want 2 feel 5 by over crowding the room. I want simple, however not plain, but im not sure what kind of colors 2 use since the carpet is a grayish blue color. I like darker furniture but am open 2 new ideas i just want a room that is more relaxed rather than too busy. I need ideas for both wall color and bed spread ideas 2 go along with it. and keep the carpet color in mind. Thanks :)

- try this website www.hmsticker.com they are vinyl stickers that are removable when you don't want them any more. I got my daughter the blank branch/pink blossom with birds print and we spread it around her room so it looks like the petals have been blown around, the effect is excellent. A bit tricky to peel off the contact protective layer so be patient. Lots of contemporary designs too. Good luck.
- You can try off white walls with one side of the wall painted a cobalt blue where you can put a collection of photos. The furniture can be dark wood to add contrast and bedspread in off white colors with leafy patterns. Good luck!
- Well I think you should paint your room walls gray and dark blue. Maybe you should get a gray bed, and for bed spread get a spread with stripes, gray and blue. Some people sell glow- in- the- dark star figures to put up on the wall to make it look pretty.You could buy those if you liked. Hope this helped! :)
- I go with blues and greys..maybe a gun metal blue.. black and white strip bedspread 2-3 inch strips (strips to busy ?) pick something classy in blue or grey with a rich fabric. White furniture. Or go grey walls with blue bedspread.. Black furniture. white furniture.. I would leave the ceiling white or go with a very white grey or white blue grey. blue A combination off these with black furniture would be o.k. or even a dark espresso
