Moving and decorating my new bedroom for a teenage girl? Ideas?

Okay so we are moving to a new house and I really want to plan it out in advance. If anyone has some good ideas that would be great. I need to decide what paint colors I want to use, and what color scheme/theme I want for my room. Also some tips on desk organizing or layout of furniture would be good! Pictures and links would be nice!! I love the colors blue green purple black/white. I love dance and art and contemporary furniture/design. Oh and I love reading too so I want to have a little reading nook with a beanbag chair and pillows to hang out in... Any ideas? So I have a budget so I can't spend to much but I might be able to buy one or two pieces of furniture and lots of accessories. Right now I have an oak bed which is broken (haha lol) and a bookshelf. I definatley need a good desk. And btw the room I'm moving into is 11by11 so it's pretty small. So does anyone have any feedback, suggestions, ideas, pics, links? What kind of accessories should I use? What kind of theme? Hahaha and thanks for reading my reaaaallly long question!

1. Have a look through this site for some ideas. You have to start with a couple of basic colours and then build on that. Add accessories to blend with your basic colours. 2. Stick with the smallest bed you can stand. Hopefully you have a good closet for clothing and make sure you have a dresser for your clothes, too. If you still have room for a desk, pick that up. If not, you can buy a 20X30" folding table for a desk for about $30. Go pick out the comforter set you like best and go from there. It will be the best place to start. There are so many cute things to pick from and in all sorts of price ranges. It's always the smartest thing to start with the biggest, most visible thing in the room and kind of work outwards from that. If you find a purple and brown quilt, then do purple walls and get brown curtains. See what I mean?
