furniture 3 months late?

hello, we have purchased a bedroom furniture set from a local shop over 3 months ago, the price is paid in full. when we ring them they keep on telling us to call back next week because supposedly the furniture has not arrived yet. because we really want the furniture we dont want to ask for refund, but if it would be possible in some way to get a discount for stuff or something like choosing other (more expensive maybe? :D) furniture instead of this one. need some legal advice here, thx for any help

  1. MOVERS HAVE BEEN DEREGULATED. SO TO BAD FOR CONSUMERS. MARY.
  2. If you have not received the product then you are entitled to your money back. I doubt that the business will give you better furniture for your dissatisfaction. If I were you, I would demand the money back ASAP. Nothing like a scorned customer to get action done. Simply tell them that you are not happy with their service and you are tired of waiting on your product to arrive.
  3. Ask for a refund - if they cannot or won't then contact Consumer Direct on 08454 04 05 06. In the UK 'movers' were not regulated.
