teen bedroom ideas or designs ?
okay so my mom and i are moving and shes letting me re-do my room... but i need major help! i have no idea how to design it or if there should be a theme or not? - What a lot of fun! i always liked re-doing my room when i was a teen. i am just going to say that warm colors like yellow, peach, lime green etc. are very cheerful and energizing, useful if you have very long winters and get the blues cool colors like lavender and blue are serene and contemplative and relaxing. i have depression so I always pick warm colors and we do have long winters here. consumer reports really likes Behr brand latex indoor paint, year after year, which is at home depot so tell your mom that. Behr is abotu $25 a gallon. I use cheaper paint for my ceilings, because white isn't going to fade and I am never going to scrub the ceiling. anyhow, the psychology of color is pretty important in a bedroom design, even if it's a boring detail. have fun!
- i'm 15 & i'm doing the same thing.. lol. im doing a whole like cheetah print theme thing. & it sucks cause i cant find any bedsets i like that are cheetah!! my room is lime green & hot pink right now. but if you like zebra / cheetah you can really stick with the simple colors :p & my sister is 13 and her room is brown & she has big polka dots around the room(all dif colors) with a matching comforter. it looks nice. i tried (: haha
- personally i would go with stuff that is easly changed.. i redo my room like once a month but i never spend alot of money... i used to have a theme but after a while u dont like it and u think its childish. pick a few colors to be ur main colors in the room and go from there..
