Girls Bedroom Themes…?

I'm about to start decorating my dd's bedroom as we are swapping rooms. The walls in her new room are currently pink and i'd like to leave them that way (less work!) but i need some ideas about what sort of theme to go for! I dont want to do disney princess or anything along those lines. I want it to be really pretty and something a bit different. I love all of the gingham prints but my partner thinks it should be bold and loud! My dd is 20 months but her 3 1/2 yr old half sister shares the room one night each week. Any ideas would be greatly apprciated! Also any ideas on where to buy reasonably prices duvet sets would also be really helpful!

  1. Maybe instead of Princess you could make some sort of mystical Fairy garden. Paint some grass or trees on the walls (or just leave them pink) and decorate with bold green leaves and bright flowers! Gingham prints can be bold as well, with bright colors as accents (gingham pillows or sheet sets) and would go well with a fairy/garden themed girls room. There are so many possibilities! And for cheap duvet sets, I suggest looking at Walmart.com or Overstock.com (O.co). Hope this helps!
