- try this web site..if anything it may give you a few ideas. www.stores.ebay.com/MURALSRUS
- Color is one of the easiest and least expensive impacts you can give a room. Choose monochromatic shades of one color and then add a wild splash of something totally different. For example: Deep lush magenta on one wall, the adjoining wall can be a lighter shade of the same magenta, the third wall and paler shade still and then the fourth wall -- pow! -- lime green! If the room is large, paint the ceiling a deep magenta, if the room is small, a pale lime green. White gauzy curtains, a cozy white comforter with colorful pillows....just a thought...
- First i would plant cactus outside her window..then i would i would place bars on them. find pics of geeks and put them on her walls. get her a baby sitting job with the worst kids you know. basically make her hate they thought of growing up so fast.....then you could decorate it with the pretty things girls are supposed to like.
- Painting can be a pain, but it is actually fairly cheap and easy if you have friends come help you. If you can't paint, you can have fun with curtains or tapestry. If you can find a really cool but large piece of fabric, you can hang it right on the wall for some visual interest. Urban Outfitters has some cool pieces that are perfect for that! Another way to redecorate is with textiles. IKEA, Target, and Delia's all have fairly cheap but fun bedding. You can also create a cheap headboard (if you don't have one) with a window panel, curtain rod, and valance. You just hang them behind your bed, and it looks really awesome! I used to have one in my old apartment, but when I moved, I painted and then got a really cool hanging canopy to accent my bed. When I was in high school, I also created a border around my ceiling with cool magazine ads. It went all the way around my wall about an inch under my ceiling. I just used double-sided tape and a stepstool. I also hung cool things from my ceiling, like clear Christmas lights and ornaments that looked like disco balls. A funky rug is also a good idea. I've seen cool ones at Target, but IKEA also has some wonderful ones. Anthropologie also has wonderful stuff, but it isn't exactly made for a small budget... As far as colors go, I think picking one color you really like is a great idea. Then accent it with other colors. Or, once you find a bedspread that you really like, pick up the colors in that. I think an Asian-inspired theme is great! You can probably find Asian printed fabrics at a local fabric shop, and hang panels of the different fabrics from floor to ceiling. Then you could get some cheap white paper and draw different glyphs (you can look them up online to see what they represent) on the paper. Pop them in cheap frames, and voila, instant art! You could even get a funky room divider. My friend had one that she displayed photos in. Target has a really cool one that you can use for storage. http://www.target.com/Hang-It-Up-Screen/dp/B000P4RQ9E/sr=1-19/qid=1212816123/ref=sr_1_19/601-0857723-0806562?ie=UTF8&rh=k%3ARoom%20Divider&page=1 Good luck! Good luck!
- I'm 16 and my parents just redecorated my room and I love it. -My colors are brown, cream, and a light turquoise. -For accessories I have a a pot of fake flowers, the word DREAM, a necklace hanger, a canopy above my bed, and picture frames. They also displayed my books on a pretty matching book shelf because I like to read & framed pictures of places to travel to-like Paris, Italy, NY, etc. because I like to travel. -They did it for pretty cheap-try places like Hobby Lobby, Pier 1, and Joanne Fabrics to find pictures, accessories, etc. -A TV & iHome for iPod are also nice to have in a room :)

- You need to do one wall in chalkboard paint! My daughter loves to write stuff on her walls, such as phone #'s , so the chalkboard paint saves a lot of aggravation! I do not suggest pink, they outgrow it too fast. A lot of girls are into the blue and brown theme right now. Definitely a cool lamp, and some shelves to display their stuff and to put their make up on. As for a carpet, I'd go with just an area rug if you don't have wall to wall already! Stuff is always getting spilled. Good Luck! I love Jody's answer!!!!!
