Teen bedroom decorating help?
I'm a teen and I want to re-do my room this summer. Well first of all.. my room is kinda small...like maybe 10ft x 10ft.. And I hate it! It's an ugly pink color that I had painted when I was maybe six.. I want a green and blue kind of beachy theme. I also want to get a double bed but I dont know if I have enough room. Can anyone give me a website or any advice of their own for decorating small rooms. I'm also on a budget! Please help!!

- well..i used to have a 10ft by 10ft room and it did fot a double bed. as for decorating i like the idea of a beachy theme, you can go on the dulux site and theres a program that you upload your room and paint it different colous. as well as a crown version here- http://www.crownpaint.co.uk/expcolour/create/ http://www.mycolour.com.au/ hope this helps! anyway i'm off to buy red paint!
- Have you thought about a Day Bed. Its bigger than a twin and smaller than a full size bed. Use colors like sea green and sea blue. You can add coral and sea shells in art form. Like Pictures. I would use a lacey white curtains. Sand colored blinds for the windows too. I would also use a sand colored carpet. I would put a net over the bed and drape it around the bed like a bug net. You can hot glue seashells to lamp shades and other objects. I could go on and on but you get the idea. Put in a few tropical plants. Fake ones are fine. I have also put white Christmas lights on my fake tree.

- The beachy scene will be nice. But stick to lighter blues and greens as the darker ones will make the room look smaller. If you want a double bed but dont have the room. Why dont you use a sofa bed. That way it gives you more room thru the day. In the corner's of the room you could place some shelves and get some pretty large shells / vases / candles,to place there.
