What are some good ideas for turning a small carpeted bedroom into a media room/ kidroom of sorts?

- Vaguely speaking: Change the lighting for the media aspect, add different furniture to suit the needs of media type and kid use, change paint or fabrics, add pieces that work for storage and are kid friendly (such as an upholstered ottoman box that you can store toys or media equiptment in), find pieces that work multi functionally for the media and kids stuff. designate an area for kids stuff only that won't be taken over by media stuff. If you mean kids bedroom then maybe consider a futon or pull out couch or daybed that can work as seating and a bed. They also make cool pull outs now that have just a twin in it.
