Media Room?
What is the differnce between a media room and a living room? Also, we just opened up our attic and put up walls to add three more rooms to our house, basically just to increase home value, but now we are unsure how to make the best use of the space. One room of course will be a spare bedroom, but we already have an office 'nook', three bedrooms, a family room, a living room, and a kitchen/dining are downstairs. What are some good ideas for this extra space?

- A media room is also referred to as a home theater. It's sole purpose is to watch TV. A living room is a more formal room where you gather with guests to visit & converse. Most homes built prior to the invention of the television only had one living area, so when TVs became common people placed them in their living rooms b/c that's where the household gathered to relax. More modern homes are now built with a home theater room so that the living room can return to its original intended function - as a converstation area.
