how should i design my bedroom?

i'm 20 and i just bought my first apartment in NYC, and i need to design my bedroom (my roommate is doing the rest of the apartment). i want to do light blue on the walls, and i have some nice light green furniture, so i want to use those two colors-but what accent color could i use? i hate purple and i don't want to use pink. and also, where can i get a cheap comforter or duvet, its for a queen bed.

2. could use dark blue or dark green as accents... or a pretty orange. you can buy cheap comforters at walmart or target...etc.
3. you should make it have lots of colors, with cool shaped funiture, like circley seats and stuff. with alot of retro pictures and lots of funky colored flowers...oooo thatd be sweeeeeeet!
4. maybe use a light yellow too. i think that would look good. as far as a comforter, try domestications.com. they usually have reasonable prices!

6. Blue and green... Dolphins!!! Blue walls and dolphins everywhere. Dolphin Wallpaper, dolphin lightswitch cover, electrical cover, seaweed painted on the bottom of the walls. You should put a dolphin poster up. Dolphins wearing sunglasses. Smiling ones. They make all this cause my bathroom is dolphin mania. My mommy did it! I also have dolphin shower curtains, dolphin mat to stand on after getting out of shower. Dolphin towels and hand toweles, and probably more. Oh, dolphin wallpaper liner. That's oretty much it. I think. Hope you like. You could get dolphin bed covers. Dolphin pillowcases... A mimiature dolphin statue. Dolphin stuff. There really is near-endless possibilities.

9. Choices to consider: darker blues [ royal, navy ] darker greens [ kelly, olive, emerald, hunter ] aqua, turquoise, teal banana or lemon coral, or terra cotta gold [ brass ] or silver [ chrome ] Go on line for a good price on bedding [ lots of sales now! ] Good luck!

11. a shade of brown might be an option for an accent color or possibly a grey, depending on the tones of your other colors. good luck.
