I am interested in purcasing the West Vancouver, C$18 million waterfront residence which spans 200 feet of natural shoreline which features five bedroom suites, a media room, office and wine cellar.

1. I've heard of those realtors before, they sell houses at ridiculously high prices, and I think it isn't a good time to buy, since the US economy is in recession.
2. Why don't you phone Malcolm Hasman if you have his name and have seen the listing? He's a successful realtor with a long track record and good reputation.
