Master bedroom decorating ideas?
Light carpet, dark wood trim & dark wood furniture. Any ideas for walls, windows, bedding? Thanks!

- play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours. Crazy Y!A isn't allowing me to post the link, so just google "Sherwin Williams Color Visualizer." I think the color called "agate green" (# 7742) is a gorgeous color for a bedroom. Very natural & peaceful, & it should match a lot of things.
- I love shades of blue. Blue and neutrals look so neat together. Try taping some color samples on your walls to see what you like best. Don't do like me- paint first, regret later. Such a spaz. We got some neat window treatments from Target- I think they're jute. They're roman shades and fairly inexpensive. They come in a nice cream and we have some sheer cotton drapes to accent them. For bedding, I like down and you can get interchangeable duvet covers for when you want to try something different. Target had duvet covers, as well as many other places, and that way you're not buying the filling over and over.
- Since you have the dark wood trim, and dark wood furniture, I would use a vanilla color for your walls. Keep the bedding light in color with dark chocolate colored pillows and red (or burgundy, or even pink) window treatments.
