My bedroom has a dark green carpet, no curtains yet, what color comforter set will work?

My bedroom has a dark green carpet, light green wall, no curtains yet, what curtain and conforter set color would work?(the color of the bed and the dresser is wood dark brown)

1. Maybe a light neutral color will lighten up the room like a sage green or an ivory or cream?
2. Hot pink, baby yellow, or sage will really brighten up the room and make it feel more comfortable.
3. Ooo, very earthy. You could go with a beige color, or a floral, or simply brown stripes. It would look nice even with white linens, so not to cluster the room with so many colors, if you like that.
4. Is the dark green carpet similar to a forest green? And light green wall? Is it a neon green, lime green, or teal color? A maroon color would add some contrast (i wanted to do this with MY own room a little while back!) otherwise a navy or light blue color, or a rich purple color (Depending on your style) Have fun!
5. I would go with a beige, ivory or cream color to lighten up the room because you have a dark rug and dark wood. But in the comforter, I would make sure there is some type of print; whether strips or some floral pattern because your walls and rug is plain so you need something (contrast) to make it pop. Also, get the comforter to match the curtains.
6. I would suggest a patterned fabric for either your comforter or your curtains. The other could be of a plain cream or white. This will make a nice contrast against your dark furniture.
7. Lot of colors would work. I'd find a beautiful floral with some greens in it and other colors that you like. Blues and greens look great in a bedroom and are soothing and serene.
