- paste or stick dried leaves on the wall randomly.... paint your wall with the usual autumn color... depends on you... :) accessorize with things that you use during autumn season.. =)
- Think deep crimson reds, fern greens and yellow squash...... Change your wall color to a clay beige in a rich medium shade. Check out comforter/bedspread sets in predominantly crimson. Accent with the green and gold. Go out in the fall and "hunt down" different colors and types of leaves. Press them between pages of a large book. In the meantime buy a poster frame kit from Joann's or Michael's (should have backing board, plexiglass and frame edges and then make a really cool collage with the leaves and glue them onto the backing board with a glue stick and frame for the wall. Nice "original" artwork and Mother Nature helped! You can also look for some inexpensive fabric and cover an inexpensive cork board with the fabric for a coordinating message/noteboard for your room. Think about spray painting a lamp shade you already have for a different look and glue roping at the top and bottom of shade to change it. You can also spray paint the base of the lamp to match as well as your waste basket, if you have one in your room. Change your dresser knobs with "leaves" that you can purchase at Home Depot or Lowe's and if you have an attached mirror to your dresser or no mirror at all, go out to the thrift/consignment shops and find a new one that can be mounted to the wall above your dresser for a totally different look. Clear the top of your dresser off completely and add a wooden tray, with pebbles layered on it, and then add clear or smoked glass votive holders and candles in a uniform row. This will look sleek and very chic! Good luck!
- i think orange window cover or wall paint and white bed sheet and carbinet may give you this feelings. you can refer some korean style, warm and trivial. i have many pictures: http://www.decor-photos.com/fe/Korea-Style-6891c8ee31444cd3.html
- I would paint it a lovely gold color, like "alchemy" by Sherwin Williams. http://sherlink.sherwin.com/swapp/color_visualizer/index.jsp Then I would find a gorgeous bedding set, like one of these: http://www.softsurroundings.com/S/bellagio/ http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Nouvelle_Rainforest_Coverlet_Set/520/ http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Tropics_Comforter_Set/520/ There's some beautiful artwork that help to create the look of fall: http://homedecorators30.artselect.com/search2/openct10171~3D9280~2C9283~2C2773~26t~3Dc2773/Autumn_Landscapes.html There are some wonderful area rugs with an autumn theme: http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Autumn_Breeze_Area_Rug/ http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Turning_Leaf_Area_Rug/610/ http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Leaf_Rug/ http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Leaves_IV_Area_Rug/610/ http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Leaves_Area_Rug/840/ You might even consider one of these wallpaper murals: http://www.muralsyourway.com/outdoor-wall-murals.cfm
- My opinion is to change the colors to Fall using the comforter, curtains and throw rug and then add in a few extras. Change the comforter or cover it with a duvet. If you can afford it, don't forget the sheets! Sheets of mustard yellow, tan, brown, rust, gold, or even a green that can be used for Christmas too. this isn't Fall, but it's the right colors and price and get the rust sheets: http://www.domestications.com/ProductS.asp?deptid=28000&sid=46F1B8007080617F&N=28000&product=K16099x&Nao=60&R=16099B&dept_id=28000 look esp. at 3rd row: http://www.domestications.com/dept.asp?deptid=10000&sid=46F1B8007080617F&subdeptid=10108&N=10108&Ne=1&Nu=p%5FRollupKey&dept_id=10108 Put up sheer curtains, check out Domestications for every possible color. You can put sheers across the top like brown, orange or maroon and hang another color, maybe beige or tan underneath. These sheers can really be affordable. If you go with a maroon or a green, you can keep them up for Christmas! http://www.domestications.com/dept.asp?deptid=18000&sid=46F1B8007080617F&N=18000&Ne=12111&Nu=p_RollupKey&dept_id=18000 You could also drape a garland of Fall silk flowers across. Put a Fall throw rug down. To save money, hunt through a Thrift Shop, Good Will, Salvation Army, Value Village, or 2nd hand store. You may find a pretty comforter in there for as little as $10..... no kidding. Check out the comforter for holes or tears. Just wash it in something like Fabuloso to make it clean and fresh. - you may have to go to a laundry mat to wash in the large washers. Add in a wreath for the wall, a Fall flower arrangement, a plastic pumpkin or group, orange candle, throw pillow, lamp shade, woven throw across the bed, a ceramic item you spot in a store, put a table runner across the chest, or use a placement on which to place things. Have you see the 'leaves' material placemats in Wal-Mart in the 'seasonal section?' Walk in that area. If you want to help the bathroom out, just a change in the rug, seat cover and towels will do. To save money, use a vase, clay pot, or ceramic bowel and seach out a small arrangement - sometimes premade - of Fall flowers. Head to the craft stores, import stores, the artificial flowers in the discount stores. I don't like spending a lot of money, because after Thanksgiving, I put on a hunter green comforter, put on some Christmas pillows, and brighten the room with red or pretty maroon and gold. I also like to go to the blue, soft blue and white with a 'snowflake' snow scene colors for Christmas too. Pick out the right blue comforter and add to it with the right sheets, rugs, throws, pillows, etc. this is a good price - but notice it says "dry clean" http://www.domestications.com/ProductS.asp?deptid=28000&sid=46F1B8007080617F&N=28000&product=K13777x&R=13777A%5FK&dept_id=28000 My sister's husband like the camping out 'woody' or outdoor look with snow & trees and animals like deer. >>>> http://www.domestications.com/ProductS.asp?deptid=10000&sid=46F1B8007080617F&subdeptid=10611&N=10611&product=H15303x&R=15303A%5FK&dept_id=10611 or >> http://www.domestications.com/ProductS.asp?deptid=10000&sid=46F1B8007080617F&subdeptid=10209&N=10209&product=H16166x&R=16166A%5FQ&dept_id=10209 With the kitchen and den decorated in the seasonal colors, sometimes it is just TOO much ! I am not saying buy from Domestications..... that's just examples. If you call and order the catalog, the Seasonal items are just starting. Try Target: http://www.target.com/gp/search.html/602-1722055-4156616?field-keywords=bed%20linen%20comforter&afid=yahoosspslp&lnm=bed%20linen%20comforter&ref=tgt_adv_XSJH1060 Touch of Class: clearance: http://www.touchofclass.com/category/clearance/bed+%26+bath.do Home Decorating: http://www.home-decorating-co.com/index.htm I have found several, several Croscill's in Value Village stores.... no kidding.... for $10 to $25 depending if in sets. I also like the Martha Stewart in K-Mart.... http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/v_10151_10104_Bed+%26+Bath?adCell=AH I have the flannel light blue snowflake sheets under a blue & white snowflake design I got over a year ago from Domestications. Anyway, you can do a search and order some catalogs !
