  1. Greece is usually blue and white colors.
  2. Rosepedals,lol
  3. Go with a nautical theme, light blues, white. For fabric you might go for a white canvas looking material to simulate a ship's sail.
  4. ivory possibly gold try maybe earthy tones and those fancy pillar things
  5. Get a big Grecian picture to start as inspiration and go from there. When I think Greece the colors red, yellow, and turquoise come to mind in like a Mosaic pattern. You could get some lamps with those colors along with a great framed print for a focal point and keep the walls a neutral color. A fabric store always brings great ideas for a curtains.
  6. check the links below and have a close idea: http://www.matterbrothersfurniture.com/bedroom.htm http://www.cls.yale.edu/lexis/PD/content/bedroom.jpg
  7. Paint your room a satin gold. Paint the trim burgundy. For wall accents, use mirrors with gold frames and a Grecian painting also with gold frame. Have a burgundy Jacquard bedspread and accent it with gold and burgundy pillows. You might want to add some heavy fringe to the pillows. Use dark furniture, and as accent pieces, get a beautiful Greek statue in white or grey, and a large ficus plant. Draperies can be long and might be either dark green or gold with burgundy tiebacks. You might put a curtain rod over the headboard of your bed and hang the same fabric drapes there too with tiebacks. Gold cord would be nice tiebacks. A bench or trunk at the foot of the bed would be lovely. Cover it with a velvet cushion in either the dark green or the gold. Nightstand lamps might have shades you paint green and glue fringe on. Good luck and have fun! Oh yes and carpeting can be a Grecian rug on wood floors or a nice neutral gold carpet with a Grecian accent rug.Try to get a nylon rug.
  8. Go to your closest bookstore and look at books on Greece to give you inspiration. I'm with Jen, Greece is all about whites and ocean blues......also splashes of red and yellow. If you could do a faux finish making your walls looked a little cracked or crumbling would be a nice touch. Draping white fabrics, lots of fabrics. Maybe a few short pillars for night stands.
  9. Rather than a "theme", I would find a print to set the tone of the room. Check out www.art.com, where you can type "Greece" into the search engine. It will pull up many options for you to choose from. A black and white print will look more sophisticated and contemporary, while a color print will look, well, more colorful. Choose your colors for the room around the picture. That will give you a look that is more pulled together and "grown-up" looking. Have fun and Good Luck!~
