  1. I don't know of any websites that help you arrange your furniture, but I can give you some tips. 1. Consider traffic flows first. 2. Place the largest pieces first then work around them. Draw your room shape onto paper and make cutouts of shapes similiar to your furniture. Place them on the room shape. This will help you visualize it opposed to moving the furniture around over and over. If you want to get really specific draw it all onto a 1/4" scale. 1/4 = 1 foot.
  2. Can you afford to get a shelf that goes on the wall for the TV? Like in a hospital? We did that in our bedroom and it helps SO much with the space! Get a smaller computer desk - there are some that have pull-out shelves so you can have extra space when you need it for books and homework. My son's had one and it was wonderful in a small room. If you can, get some wire shelving and remodel the closet so you can have more shelves and some wire baskets for clothing rather than have a dresser. We did this, too, and it is great not having dressers. If you can't afford a lot, see what you can find free in your area on craig's list or some other local free site. Also, places like Goodwill, etc. or maybe you can have someone handy just build it for you. Put a window seat under the wide window so you can store clothes, etc. in there. Put shelving up on the walls so you can put boxes or odds and ends up on those. Get some under-the-bed boxes or carts for extra things. They make some great ones that are like baskets with wheels and they weren't real expensive. I picked some up at a store like Target or Walmart. I can't remember where exactly but one of those places and they are just great for extra storage out of sight. Hope this helps! Have fun fixing up your new room!
  3. give you'reself time to experiment don't clutter the room with stuff before you've figured out exactly were you want all of your furniture to go move it around a couple of times to see where it will best fit chances are good that the bed wil need to go in corner not out into the room in orer to save space good luck and have fun
  4. First place your bed where you will feel more confortable . From there choose a place for your working area , close to the window it could be nice. Don't forget your bed can be used as a sofa with many pillows and your bedroom can be transform as a sitting room to receive your friends. I like to use "paravent" to hide temporary the computer or the desk or whatever , just to change at any time my room
