Tips when Feng Shui- ing a Bedroom??
I want to create more positive energy in my room. I have heard that the mirror should not face my bed when I wake up... are there any more tips like that? And how much is it usually to have a Feng Shui expert to come to my home?

- I heard your feet (in your bed) should not be facing the door. Because if you died that is the way they would carry you out, feet first. But if you look on most floor plans in the master bedroom, where you would put the bed the feet face the door. So I would ignore that particular feng-shui rule. But I do have a lot of light coming in and live plants in my bedroom which is nice.

It depends on where your bedroom sits in the house and the layout too. 1st step is establishing your focal point which is the biggest piece of furniture (your bed). Balance is important. The bed should be opposite the door. Mirrors should be at eye level or in full view of yourself (not too low or too high).
- fengshui does not work as what you or most people think. it is not having a room, then painting it a certain color, or arranging the furnitures - this is too easy, and fengshui is not easy. fengshui is determining what area of the house has a good energy with regards to health, then put the bedroom there. when you have you bedroom there, then no matter what arrangment you have inside, it does not matter. because the chi that the bedroom activates contribute to the good health of its occupants. but if you randomly put the bedroom in a location, where there is bad chi. then no matter what good fengshui arrangement you have inside the bedroom, it will still a bad effect on the occupants. for example, a bedroom was placed in an area of the house where there is too much fire, this fire is not literal, but it can cause illnesses to related to blood and heart. to destroy fire, you need water. but putting water inside the bedroom can affect the occupants in a bad way. so things get complicated. mirror is not a cure all, in fact, a mirror placed inside a store can repel customers. mirrors inside the house can make things worst or complicated. how much is a fengshui expert worth? you can get it for US$100.00 to about US$1,000 for a 2-floor apartment about 200 square meters total area (2 floors with 100 each). fengshui masters rate theirs a tad higher than what is the norm in the country/ area.
